One of the most amazing petrosexual sound tracks out there! And especially a very effective ad, considering they closed the roads and actually drove the cars at each one of those locations. See if you can name them all…. One day, I will go to Monaco!

Driver Fail

An accident on US-36 backed up Superior to Broomfield during the Thursday, March 22, 2012 commute. No details on the accident, but it seemed a Honda Accord shoved it's face onto something much bigger, ending up very un-pretty on the back of a tow-truck.
Thank you, whoever you are, for your complete and utter lack of driving prowess! You’ve caused oodles of people to be late to work because your selfish dumbass couldn’t stay focused on a reasonable following distance. Could you please do the rest of us a favor and move to some other country, maybe communism and a total disregard towards progress would suit you better.
-Sincerely, attentive driver

Repress: One awesome looking Post-Gen 250

A beautiful 250!
Jim McCloud is a really cool guy, and a really cool uncle! He found this bike for his nephew, and since it was in pretty bad shape, he thought he’d fix it up. One thing led to another, and viola, two years later, awesomeness! He said that he got many of the ideas he used on this particular 250 from MotoGP, as he is an avid fan. Although he knows what he’s doing, he found this post, and worked off of it for many parts of the project, so if you’re interested in something like this, go check it out! Jim used to own a company on the side, by the name of Restoration Station, restoring old motorcycles. However, due to high running costs he closed the company and now only does projects out of his garage if he isn’t wrenching on airplanes. If you search for Restoration Station in San Jose, you might find this Restoration Station, not Jim’s company.
He’s a very nice and polite guy, filled with energy, and a hoot to talk to! However, he knows his craft and is under no delusions about how much his work is worth. He reported this Ninja 250 project at close to $10,000, out of range for most 250 owners, but he is more than willing to work with each individual, getting them what they need. So, if you only want to purchase the front bolt-on fairing, he can do that. Currently he’s finishing up Malcolm Smith’s 1976 Husky, so he’s well connected as well! Also, if you see this particular bike riding somewhere between Lompoc and Santa Barbarra, that’s Jim’s Nephew, one of the luckiest nephews EVAR!
This is another of his projects, a CL360, beautiful, isn’t it? If you were in the Bay Area, you might have seen this in the formerly Gilroy Honda, now High Gear Power Motorsports showroom last year….
For the full 250 project write-up, go here

mmm, delicious!!
Jim is currently accepting new projects and commissions, and can be reached at: 408 375 8935.
Trending KONY 2012: America, F’yea!
Posted in Lifestyle, Media Review with tags 2012, activism, aid, campaign, critique, guilty, human rights, humanitarian, innocent, Joseph Kony, trending on 03/09/2012 by DandooliganYou’ve probably all heard of the Kony 2012 campaign. If not, all the links are listed below, it IS a worthy cause.

Joseph Kony. Photo credit: http://www.dailytelegraph.com.au
Ask yourself the question: How powerful could America be if they emulated KONY 2012 passion and demands about the conflict in Iraq and Afghanistan? What about Abortion, Equality, LGBT rights? What about Bank or Airline regulation? Sounds like we have enough issues right here in the US, no? Shouldn’t we fix our own country first before we impose our arrogant western thought on others?
Hasn’t the western (white) man already screwed Africa up enough through slavery and colonization 3 hundred of years ago?
Oh wait, what about South America and the rain forests (a global resource), or Asia as a whole and collection of so many countries who could use tons of aid? Oh, lest we forget, what about the Middle East, Europe, aren’t they all bankrupt anyway? Aren’t we bankrupt?
Against all of these possible issues, its easy to see how the Kony campaign pales in comparison with much larger global issues. No, I’m not urging you stay away from KONY 2012, I’m urging that once you’ve given to KONY2012, plastered the posters, worn your bracelets and on and on, to keep going after all of the other issues and not simply feel good for a while and forget… DO NOT forget that our world is very much broken!
Mr. Russel, the film maker of the last 12 KONY films over the past 14 years, is an absolute genius! His ability to highlight the issues, and hide certain opposing facts puts him right on par with Michael Moore. Very effective story telling indeed! True story telling? You’ll have to decide…
Oh yea, and if you want to keep this medium we’re all using to discuss these VERY IMPORTANT issues, throw these guys a few dollars… SOPA is dead, but it’s spirit is alive and kicking!
